Frequently Asked Questions.
Find the answers to the most commonly asked questions here, but feel free to reach out to us in the taproom at 218-866-0914 or by emailing [email protected] with any other questions.
Do you allow dogs?
Yes, we allow dogs in the taproom and on the patio. We do ask that they be leashed and under the owner's control the entire visit and that they do not bark. We also ask that you not allow your dogs on benches, chairs or tables. We appreciate pet parents being mindful of others in the taproom and also taking care to clean up any mess attributed to their pet.
Do you fill outside growlers?
Yes, we will fill growlers from other breweries. We ask that you have them as clean as possible when you bring them in and know that we need to place a removable label with our brewery's information on your growler in order to abide by federal law.
Do you have gluten free or non-alcoholic options?
Many of our beers are gluten removed. We also offer a seltzer that is not brewed with any grain. We occasionally have a cider on tap and there are variations of a recipe that we use that sometimes contain grain sugar and sometimes not. The cider is given the same gluten removal treatment as many of our other beers though. We do not use the terminology "gluten free" on any of our items as that implies it has been officially tested and inspected for gluten. Of course, we have grain in our facility and there is always a risk of cross contamination. All of our products are drink at your own risk.
NON-ALCOHOLIC OPTIONS:
We offer a canned NA beer. We also offer bottled soda, arnold palmer, tap root beer and kombucha and almost all of our cocktails can be made as mocktails.
Can we rent the taproom for an event?
We have a general policy that we do not close to the public for a private event during regular business hours. However, we can often accommodate your group in many capacities while still being open to the public. We have hosted groom's dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, etc. many times in our taproom. If you would like to consider using the space for an event, please reach out to Laura, our taproom manager, at [email protected].
What about food?
We have a food partner on site in our building, Burritos California, that offers authentic counter service Mexican food (see food tab for menu). You are always allowed to bring your own food in, order in from Rafferty's Pizza as they deliver to the taproom, or bring carryout from any of our other great restaurants. We do have small, bagged snacks (pretzels, chips, meat sticks) for sale in the taproom as well.
Since you are located on Crosby’s main street, why didn't you call yourself Crosby Brewing Company?
Since the early 1900s folks around the world have known this region as Cuyuna. We went with the name that represents us all to the world at large. Past. Present. Future. Cuyuna. It’s also cool that the “Una” in Cuyuna is named after a Saint Bernard dog. We think Una had beer in the wooden keg attached to her collar.
